Due to the pandemic, the ability to obtain the necessary prescriptions for treatment for addiction has been daunting, and so Alaska has made some changes. Alaska doctors now have the ability to prescribe addiction medications through telehealth options and state officials are trying to make this a permanent option.

We hope the rest of the states follow in their footsteps.
